The PA series piezo actuators are stack type actuators manufactured using multilayer technology. They are internally pre-loaded with a mechanical spring, making them ideal for dynamic applications. Their ability to generate substantial force and handle high mass loading makes them particularly suitable for use in machine tools and dynamic scanning systems. PA actuators have a uniform diameter of 14 mm.
Strain gauge (SG) options are available for closed-loop systems.
Piezo actuators should only be fastened with screws or clamps on the bottom plate of the actuator. During installation and operation, it is important to avoid applying non-axial forces to the actuator tip.
The actuator head is available in three versions: standard round head, optional flat head, and M3 thread on demand.
