The CH30 is a handheld controller for Mechonics piezo inertial drive stages and operates up to three axes. It runs on three AA batteries without any external power supply, which makes it ideal for manual alignment in the laboratory or for adjusting microscope stages.
Four operating modes are available: fast (up to 1 mm/s), slow (up to 0.2 mm/s), single step and single step repeat (up to 0.05 mm/s). The step size is adjustable between 50 and 500 nm. In sleep mode the current consumption is only 2 uA, giving long battery life.
