M-PNZ3040KN001 is an NSK Megatorque Environment-Resistant PNZ Series (IP66M) direct-drive motor. The PNZ series is the environment-resistant type — rated IP66M (IEC/EN 60529, 60034-5) dustproof/watertight for coolant- and wash-water-exposed environments.
Why zero-backlash direct drive: Megatorque motors drive the load directly without gears or belts — no backlash, no wear parts, no accuracy degradation over time, fast settling, low noise and maintenance-free. The large hollow bore (44 mm on this model) passes cables, piping or laser paths straight through, simplifying machine design. Widely used in semiconductor/electronic-component inspection, vision processing and rotary indexing stages.
