Product Description

The ML17 UHV edition is the ultra-high-vacuum version of the ML17 low-temperature translation stage. Materials and assembly are prepared for UHV environments up to 10^-9 mbar, and the operating temperature range again covers 4 K to 300 K. It is well suited for precision positioning in UHV cryogenic experiments such as scanning probe microscopy and low-temperature optics.

The mechanical specifications match the standard version: a 17 x 32 mm footprint, 8 mm height, 5 mm travel and a mass of 25 g, with a maximum velocity of about 1 mm/s. The stage is driven by the NDEF3 low-temperature module.
