M-PB3060JN001 is an NSK Megatorque PB Series (cost-effective) direct-drive motor. The PB series is the cost-effective entry to Megatorque: standard pulse-train command with the EGA driver (auto-tuning), a drop-in replacement for reducer + AC servo setups.
Why zero-backlash direct drive: Megatorque motors drive the load directly without gears or belts — no backlash, no wear parts, no accuracy degradation over time, fast settling, low noise and maintenance-free. The large hollow bore (56 mm on this model) passes cables, piping or laser paths straight through, simplifying machine design. Widely used in semiconductor/electronic-component inspection, vision processing and rotary indexing stages.
Key specs: maximum output torque 60 N·m (rated 20 N·m), max speed 8 s⁻¹; an incremental resolver (524,288 count/rev) delivering ±5 arc-sec repeatability; allowable axial load 2,000 N, allowable moment load 20 N·m, mass 10.2 kg.
