Product Description

The DSP50 is a multi-phase piezo inertial drive linear stage developed for the new generation of Mechonics NOVA controller devices. It handles up to 16 N of blocking force over a travel range of 10 mm. Several piezo inertia drives operate together in multiple phases; with its specialist multi-phase controller (NDMS1) the stage achieves extremely uniform movement at speeds of up to 1 mm/s.

An optical sensor allows movement detection with a resolution of 1 nm and high repeatability. The stage is available as a uniaxial, biaxial or triaxial positioning system, for standard and vacuum conditions.

The very compact design (50 x 50 x 16 mm), reproducibility and outstanding precision make the DSP50 suitable for many fields of use such as optical measurement and adjustment.

For measurement and machining equipment that need high positioning accuracy, choose the ground-finish C3/C5 grades; for general material handling and automation mechanisms, the rolled-finish C7 grade is sufficient and offers a cost and lead-time advantage.
