The MS38 is a miniature piezo inertial drive translation stage specially designed for optical systems. A free aperture of 10 mm in the center of the stage allows the beam to pass straight through, making it ideal for precise positioning of lenses, apertures and filters.
The stage provides 8 mm of travel on a 38 x 40 mm footprint with a height of only 9.5 mm. The maximum velocity is 1.5 mm/s and the bearing force (Fy, Fz) is 20 N, with a yaw angle of 20 arcsec and a pitch angle of 60 arcsec. Vacuum and UHV editions are available.
